What a (jet) blast!

View of Boeing 747 taking off across the road - about 100 feet away.  I was getting sandblasted by the blowing sand and had to turn my face down and close my eyes (hence the less-than-stellar quality of the video).  About midway I had to drop to my knees to avoid getting blown back into the ocean!  

Here’s an overhead shot of a Boeing 737 landing over us on the beach.  Between us and the end of the runway is a 2-lane road.  If the pilot lands short we’re in deep trouble!
